Dreams DO come true. My moodboard, on the catwalk

Remember when I told you about my first “official” moodboard? It was inspired by two fantasy series: LOTR & Game of Thrones and had Anna Karenina influences.

Well, guess what? What I imagined to be my future collection actually ended up on the catwalk. Not at my request, true, but it became a theme on multiple S/S 2014 shows.

From Valentino to Badgley Mischka, Zac Posen, Marchesa and Valentin Yudashkin, designers chose to bring magic worlds to life on the catwalk. 

Heavy lace, embroidered leather, metallic accessories,  satin and pastel tulle were used to envision Game of Thrones houses in 2013.
